Next Generation Foundation was founded in 2000.The essence of the Foundation’s mission is to improve health, education, and societal support for the most vulnerable populations of Maine. Our specific interest areas are:
Children, elderly and displaced
Basic human needs
Programs that enhance human health, social equality or Maine's economy and workforce
Our 2014 Large Grants Program has come to a close. We have awarded grants to 79 organizations in Maine serving youth, the elderly, the hungry, the homeless, injured birds, libraries, historic buildings, substance use disorders, those affected by cancer, victims of human trafficking, "new" Mainers (immigrants), migrants, marine research . . .

We are not currently accepting unsolicited proposals. In 2015 we
anticipate focusing on following our grantees.
